One to One Relationship

Hello,

I'm trying to do a One to One Relationship but I'm getting a problem.

Where I can find a tutorial step by step to do the relationship?

Tks a lot.

Re: One to One Relationship

jaspionrox,

One to One Relationship depends on the primary keys in each entity.

Please inform us with the problem that you face.

Unfortunately in the current documentation there is no 'One to One Relationship' example.

Re: One to One Relationship

Hi,

We are also having problem with One to One relationship. It seems that Sculpture only support the "primary key associations" mode of nHibernate. If 'A' has a One-to-one relationship with 'B', then 'B' must use the primary key of 'A'.

nHibernate also support "unique foreign key associations" using the "property-ref" property. Will Sculpture support this mode also?

If not, is there a simple way for us to modify the mold (e.g. add a ForeignKey attribute to the relationship) and the TT to generate the requried xml file and Database structure?

Regards,
Michael Leung

Re: One to One Relationship

Michael,

Your premise is true, Sculpture only support One-To-One primary key association.

Which might be the common use of One-To-One association.

About "unique foreign key associations" is not supported in the current release, but we will add it in our task list to be delivered in the next release.

We do not study this case yet, so I can not recommend any instructions for you, but I think it will not be an easy task that you can provide with simple way.
